Michael Sweeney, OP, is the Cofounder and Executive Director of the Lay Mission Project, which offers a comprehensive formation for lay Catholics in order to prepare them for the church’s mission ad-extra (laymission.net). In 1997 he cofounded the Catherine of Siena Institute and served from 2004–2015 as president of the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology in Berkeley, California.
