On Tuesday (July 6) the New York Times published a very long article on the tax-deductible contributions of Americans to settlements on the West Bank and in East Jerusalem. According to the story, some of these contributions meet IRS rules, while other do not. Most of them, however, are counter to U.S. policy opposing the settlements.
