Here is the full list of honorees.Reggie, as many of you know, was for many years a senior Vatican Latinist. He is also a world-famous teacher of Latin. He has been miraculously recovering from a series of serious health problems. He's doing much better now!I studied with Reggie in his summer program, and it was a truly wonderful experience. He managed to create a community with an amazingly diverse group of students--secular grad students from Cambridge, Harvard, and Berkeley, and priests and religious in soutanes and habits. Students from all over the world. We worked at little desks in the auditorium of an elementary school across from his monastery. Reggie knew, just knew, how much you knew--and how much you didn't. He unfailingly asked you to translate a sentence that was a little --but not too much--beyond your ability. And so it became part of your ability.
