It's hard to tell what's going on in the "negotiations" over the debt/default/deficit mess of pottage. But rumors of a "Super Congress" created to make cuts if the real Congress doesn't do it by date certain sounds like a phenomenally bad idea, along with several other rumored horrible ideas. It's a short-term solution sure to create more long-term problems.The House Democrats should vote against whatever "compromise" comes forth and make Obama stand up and take the 14th.
