On September 1, Crisis will go online-only under the new domain TheCatholicInsider.com, which will also host the Morley Institute. In the Morley Publishing Group's press release, Brian Saint-Paul, editor of Crisis, explained: "With this transition, we're actually able to expand our mission, activities, and readership while also cutting the exorbitant costs of a print magazine. This is a real win/win for us." Deal Hudson, executive director of the Morley Institute, said, "It has always been the mission of Morley Publishing to be an 'authentic Catholic voice' in culture and society. By focusing our energy and resources on creating a Catholic Internet presence we can make that voice louder than ever."

This is a bold move, and it will be very interesting to see how the new iteration develops as a Web-only venture.
