And if you’re caught tampering with road-side signs in Indiana, where apparently dinosaur attacks are no laughing matter, it could cost you $5,000—and land you in jail for a year. In Texas it will run you $500. But the real bargain is in—where else?—Illinois, where you’re charged a mere $250 for the prank. Sure, it’s more expensive than a movie—just barely—but in terms of entertainment value, that price is bleepin’ golden.
