Okay, I’m almost through the first season of Deadwood. I have to admit, Grant was right. I’ve gotten hooked (well, apart from the part where they killed the teenage thieves, for which I had to leave the room —and … those pigs… )

But the dialogue is very, very good. And Al is beginning to grow on me.

The most incongruous thing… those actors have really, really white teeth—which look startling and anachronistic against their dirty faces.
