Well, only if you're not a real conservative...For everyone else, it's a bit like watching--well Comedy Central. (More on thatina moment.) The Rush-Steele matchup (Rush by TKO in the first, if you were out getting a snack) is the driving narrative, thanks also to Rush's Orson Welles imitation at the Conservative Political Action Conference this week. But first, the serious: As per Peggy Steinfels' suggestion, here is a link to the video and transcript (easier) of the Newshour conversation with Gwen Ifill, Vin Weber and Grover Norquist on the future of the party and the movement. Now, as to the present, yes, Jon Stewart has the best coverage, video embed below. Joke of the DayWhat can get the GOP out of this mess? Maybe this "I'm Sorry, Rush" form letter?

Or maybe it'll have to be something more tectonic. It's no surprise that Republicans have been bending over backwards for the talk show king. A Gallup analysis shows Limbaugh is viewed favorably by 60 percent of Republicans, while just 23 percent have an unfavorable opinion of him--the last figure actually down from 29 percent unfavorable six years ago. Who else in the party has those numbers?
