In a fit of editorializing and diplomacy, I wrote last week to the music director of our parish. My query: What could be done to encourage the congregation to sing as loud and lustily as the choir? He has written back a long note, which I will study over the week-end.Since this blog has several liturgists and musicians, I ask you: what do you recommend as ways to get Catholics singing (I mean at Mass, not in the shower)?
