Marjorie Hope and James Young taught sociology at Wilmington College in Ohio and both contributed articles to a large number of periodicals including Commonweal, the National Catholic Reporter, Christian Century, the Progressive, the Washington Post, Catholic Digest, and the Village Voice, among others. They co-authored two books, The Struggle for Humanity and The South African Churches in a Revolutionary Situation, both of which were published by Orbis.
