Grant G. has directed our attention to Sufjan Stevens, hipster Christian troubadour. For more, see here. And while the Village Voice's claim that   Stevens is the "next Flannery O'Connor" is, well,  loopy, I actually think the music is  *better* than the  authors of this piece, in Books and Culture, suggest. It's hard to resist  a song entitled "Saton's Saxophones."
