In response to a request on another thread, here’s your chance to suggest agenda items for the up-coming bishops’ meeting this June. (Actually, I hear there’s a panel of lay people who actually DO suggest agenda items for the bishops, but I have no idea who they are, or how to get in touch with them, or how they make their decisions. If you do, recommend this thread…)How about this—describe your agenda item according to the criteria for a Twitter post—140 characters or less. An example—“Guys! Dump obligatory celibacy! Keeps people from Eucharist, harms priests, fuels clericalism and clerical culture! Call BenXVI NOW!!”
