The National Intelligence (Oxymoron Alert!) Estimate report on Iran's nuclear program is one of the more stunning turnabouts of a turbulent and tragic stretch of American history. Let us hope (byword of the week) that this convinces Bush and the candidates and the American public to ease up on the push to start another pre-emptive war.
