Steven Torres, Finance and Operations Manager

Steven Torres serves Commonweal as the Finance and Operations Manager. He holds a doctorate in educational leadership from Lewis University, and his doctoral dissertation, titled “Empowering Communities at the Margins: The Significant Role of Catholic Sisters in Educational Equity,” reflects his commitment to equity in all spaces. He also holds master’s degrees in organizational leadership and education, as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He lives in Chicago.
