Ronald Gies

Ron is a busy husband and father of three and is a cradle-Catholic. Educated in the Catholic school system - elementary through high school - he came to appreciate the wonderful attributes of the Church, its faithful, and the amazing men and women who serve them.

The Time Keepers, his debut novel, is the first in The Vatican Series of novels. The story addresses the question, "what would happen if the College of Cardinals inadvertantly elected a revolutionary pope?" Why does the Catholic Church exist in its current form; and to what lengths will some people go to keep it just the way it is?

The books are written to entertain, while exploring some of the struggles of the Catholic Church in the modern age. Ron's ambition is to encourage dialogue on some of these issues via a non-threatening medium - the mystery novel.
