82 year old Catholic priest who has been reading Commonweal since I was 15 in the seminary. I was attracted to Philip Hartung's movie reviews, something considered awful wild in the seminary in the 50's! I gradually broadened out to read the articles and editorials and have subscribed since I don't remember when. I live in an rural area that borders West Virginia. 78% of voters voted for the current occupant of the White House. Local papers leave a lot to be desired. I rely on Commonweal to tell me the truth of what's going on in the country and in the world.
