Ed Gaffney teaches constititonal hisotry, religious freedom, and international law on war & peace at Valparaiso University. He translated for guests of the Secretariat for Christian Unity during the third and fourth sessions of Vatican II, and is now working on a volume of readings about the on-going relevance of the Council in today's world. It is called Embers Beneath the Ashes: A Reader on Renewal, Reform, and Reunion Fifty Years after Vatican II.
