For the next two months (through November 12), access to the Commonweal website is totally free for all registered readers. It's one of the many ways we're celebrating our 90th Anniversary this fall.

If you don’t already have a registered e-mail and password on our site, you can sign up now at no charge (it takes less than a minute). As soon as you log in, you'll have immediate access to current issues of the magazine and web-exclusive articles, years of our site archives, our new curated Reading Lists - in short, pretty much everything we have available. This access is usually reserved for our paying subscribers - but for the next two months, it’s free to everyone.

We’re doing this, of course, because we want as many people as possible to be reading Commonweal over these next two months. So please tell all your friends – the people who already know about Commonweal, but especially the ones who don’t. Between now and November 12, we'll be posting dozens of new articles, including the contents of our fall Theology issue and our 90th Anniversary issue. Make sure you're reading our e-newsletter (sent to all registered readers) to keep up with all our announcements.

One great way for those new Commonweal readers to get up to speed with what we do here is this list of 90 of the best articles we've ever published in the recent and not-so-recent past - including the most popular articles we've published online. And of course, for the next two months, anyone can read them all for free.

Feel free to give us your reactions and suggestions on all this in the comments below.
