If you haven't followed the scandal of the role of the American Psychological Association in sanctioning torture, you might want to read the letter sent recently by Physicians for Human Rights to Sharon Brehm, the President of the APA.  It can be found here [1].  Members of the APA opposed to the role of the APA in facilitating torture have also written to Brehm.  Their letter can be found here [2].
