On page 12 of this issue we introduce an occasional column by a parish priest that we think will address many of the concerns and interests of our readers. Parish life is where the church does much of its work, and where issues that can often seem abstract are played out. Fr. Nonomen writes pseudonymously in order to protect the privacy of his parishioners, whose names have also been changed. When appropriate, composite characters will also be used.
