‘Hand of God’ update.

If you missed Frontline last night, you can now watch the documentary Hand of God in its entirety on the robust Web site PBS set up for the film. It’s helpfully broken up into ten segments, so if you aren’t conditioned for 90-minute sessions in front of your computer, you can watch it in parts.

  1. Watched it last night (tivoed). Very moving and in ways I’ve never seen before it did capture Paul’s travails and his family’s. The end shot with his father saying, “Well there you have it!” while watching the announcement of Benedict’s election was ironic and touching, since the parents are still believers and maybe churchgoers… the closing of the parish church was incredible!
What’s important in the film is what isn’t there–the political and legal baggage. Bravo!
