If I am hearing this correctly, the last words of Benedict’s papacy were,
“Thank you, and good night!”
And a longer version of the historic events here:

Believe it or not:
According to Catholic News Agency “Interesting Facts about his Holy Father Benedict XVI” written when the Pope visited the U.S. in 2008:
“Pope Benedict XVI has a pilot’s license for the papal helicopter and likes to fly from the Vatican to the papal summer residence, Castel Gandolfo… .”

Perhaps, he figured he couldn’t captain the barque of Peter but at least he could captain his own helicopter.
Who was the woman @ 00:19 … the first female cardinal?
“Grazie e buona notte” is what he said, all right.
On Thursday, Feb 28th, – the last day of B16′s reign, I bet there was not too much poping going on!!!
