Secretary Hagel was sworn in today and gave a speech. He promised a strong military, but didn’t threaten to bomb anyone. Hmmm! Wonder what the means. Here’s the speech. It’s blessedly brief.
I think it means that the House of Representatives can breathe easily, and he won’t authorize a drone strike against them.
