EB: your link; no surprise, I guess, that Hamas disagrees; it disagrees about the talks.
I only point out that in the convoluted history of the issue, the Gaza Government (Hamas) exists because a previous Israeli government thought a religious-based Palestinian movement would be more amenable. Hamas (the political party) was elected because Condoleezza Rice and GW Bush insisted on elections over the objections of Israel (and I believe certain parts of the Palestinian movement).
Once again, everyone was too clever by half!
